Several issues were discussed at the Smart Cities Week 2015 in Salzburg: How and when will we be living in the future? How will we be working? How should our cities be developed, in order to maintain a high quality of life?
The Know-Center, represented by Wolfgang Kienreich, gave a talk on “Privacy by Design – Big Data as Challenge”, thus establishing a connection between Smart City and Big Data. Followed by a podium discussion, this relation was further highlighted by practical examples from industry and practice.
