Mit der Inititive FEMtech macht das BMVIT erfolgreiche Frauen im Forschungs- und Technologiebereich in der Öffentlichkeit sichtbar.
Die Nominierung für die „Expertin des Monats“ erfolgt durch die ÖGUT, die Auswahl durch eine interdisziplinär besetzte unabhängige Jury mit hochrangigen VertreterInnen aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft. Im Februar ist die Wahl auf Prof. Stefanie Lindstaedt gefallen.
With the FEMtech initiative the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) aims at making successful women who are active in the fields of research and technology visible to the public.
The nomination of the “Expert of the Month” is carried out by the Austrian Society for the Environment and Technology (ÖGUT), while the selection of the winning nominee is undertaken by an interdisciplinary, independent jury of high-level representatives from economics and science. In February 2013 the choice was made in favour of Prof. Stefanie Lindstaedt.
Das bmvit veröffentlicht jährlich eine Broschüre mit den FEMtech Expertinnen des jeweiligen Jahres.
