Das Know-Center-Fußballteam war beim 26. Hallenfußballturnier am 04.02.2013 mit Peter Wetz (TM), Stefan Klampfl, Mark Kröll, Andi Rexha, Franjo Bratic, Roman Kern, Philipp Singer und Oliver Pimas vertreten.
Das Hallenfußballturnier wurde bereits zum 26. Mal vom Universitäts-Sportinstitut Graz (USI-Graz) veranstaltet.
The Know Center´s football team – with Peter Wetz (GK), Stefan Klampfl, Mark Kröll, Andi Rexha, Franjo Bratic, Roman Kern, Philipp Singer and Oliver Pimas – competed on February 2nd, 2013 at the 26th Indoor Football Tournament which was organized by the Graz University Sport Institute (USI Graz).
Das USI-Turnier war in zwei 3er Gruppen und zwei 4er Gruppen aufgeteilt. Das Know-Center-Team (TU Graz) spielte in einer Gruppe mit Virtual Vehicle (TU Graz), Montanuni (Montanuniversität Leoben) und Fetzenball (TU Graz). Die Know-Center-Mannschaft spielte gegen Fetzenball 0:0, gegen Montanuni 0:1 und gegen Virtual Vehicle 0:0. Fetzenball wurde Gruppensieger. Nach dem Spielsystem kann nur der Gruppensieger aufsteigen. Trotz verpatztem Aufstieg zeigte das Know-Center-Team eine engagierte Leistung und großartigen Teamgeist. Alle Spieler kämpften zusammen um den Aufstieg und zeigten viel Freude und Spaß am Fußball.
Für das Know-Center-Team steht das „Gemeinsam spielen“ im Vordergrund: Es ist eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, sich besser kennenzulernen und gemeinsam „spielerisch“ Hürden zu überwinden.
In diesem Sinne drücken wir schon jetzt die Daumen für das nächste Fußball-Turnier!
The USI Tournament was divided into two groups of three and two groups of four. The Know Center team (representing Graz University of Technology – TU Graz) played in a group with Virtual Vehicle (TU Graz), Montanuni (Montan University Leoben) and Fetzenball (TU Graz). The Know Center team competed against Fetzenball (0-0), Montanuni (0-1) and Virtual Vehicle (0-0). Only one team – in this case Fetzenball – became the group winner because according to the game mechanics only the group winner can rise in the tournament. Despite a missed victory, the Know Center team was able to show a strongly committed performance as well as an excellent team spirit. All the players fought together for victory whilst having fun and showing much enjoyment in the game.
Play Together is the motto which accompanies the Know Center players; teamwork represents for them an outstanding opportunity to better get to know each other and to overcome any obstacles together.
Not this time, but we´ve already crossed our fingers for the team and wish them best of luck for the next football tournament!
