Know-Center was represented by Sebastian Dennerlein at the 8th European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning in Paphos (Cyprus), 17 – 21 September 2013.

The Doctoral Consortium in the course of EC-TEL 2013 brought together Ph.D. students working on topics related to Technology Enhanced Learning. It offers Ph.D. students the opportunity to present, discuss, and receive feedback on their research in an interdisciplinary and international atmosphere. Prominent professors and researchers in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning provide feedback to the selected papers and participate actively and contribute to the discussions. Sebastian Dennerlein’s presentation on Understanding and Supporting Intersubjective Meaning Making in Socio-Technical Systems was very well received and he got a lot of positive feedback and input that supports him in his further work on the topic.

Before the Doctoral Consortium the Layers Consortium Meeting took also place in Paphos (Cyprus) where Christoph Trattner and Sebastian Dennerlein held a successful presentation on „Scaling Informal Learning: An integrative Systems View on Scaffolding at the Workplace“.
